DSC in Atlanta, with the room, the car and the banquet table handled.

January 7 to 10. Four rooms or fourteen, one plan the whole party can see.

  • January 7 to 10, Georgia World Congress Center, Building C.
  • Open to the public. Day passes sold by the convention.
  • The floor is in one building, the banquets are in another.
  • We handle rooms, cars, tables and the block. We do not sell badges or booth space.

What we handle.

A trade show week is a group trip with a badge. You bring the badges. We handle where the team sleeps, how it gets around and where it eats.

Rooms first, and in Atlanta that means picking for the evenings as much as the floor. The show is in Building C at the Georgia World Congress Center, and the big nights are at the Signia by Hilton next door. We book so nobody is crossing town in a suit.

Then the commute. A driver from the airport, and a car on the nights you are dressed for Conservation Night or Advocacy Night rather than walking in from a garage.

Tables. Atlanta books up around a convention this size, so the dinners get held early and we tell you the odds on the hard ones first.

And whoever came along but is not going to the floor gets their own plan for the hours you are in Building C.

Everyone books their own room from one link. We go through the terms with you before anyone books.

The facts for this week.

Checked on the organiser's own site. biggame.org.

Who gets in

Open to the public; day passes sold through the convention site.

Hours

Thursday to Saturday 9:00 to 5:30, Sunday 9:00 to 3:00. Exhibitor move-in January 5 and 6.

Official housing

Connections Housing runs the official block, and it is open now.

Where to stay

Pick for the evenings. The Signia by Hilton is next to the venue and hosts both banquet nights, so a room there beats a cheaper one across town in a suit.

Getting in

Hartsfield-Jackson, then downtown. We book drivers rather than leaving a crew with cases in a rideshare queue.

The evenings

Conservation Night Thursday and Advocacy Night Saturday, both 6:30 to 11:00 in the Triumph Ballroom. Ladies Luncheon Friday at the Omni at Centennial Park.

Questions.

When is the floor open?

Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 9:00 to 5:30. Sunday, 9:00 to 3:00, per the published schedule.

Where do the evenings happen?

Conservation Night on Thursday and Advocacy Night on Saturday are both at the Signia by Hilton, 6:30 to 11:00, in the Triumph Ballroom. The Ladies Luncheon is Friday at the Omni at Centennial Park.

That split is the whole reason hotel choice matters here. A room next to the venue is worth more than a rate.

Is it open to the public?

Yes. Day passes are sold through the convention site, which is different from the trade-only shows and makes the city busier.

Where do we stay?

There is an official block through Connections Housing and it is open now. If it is gone by the time you read this, send the headcount and we will find rooms outside it.

Does it clash with anything?

Yes, and badly. The ATA Show in Indianapolis runs the exact same four days. If your company usually sends people to both, somebody has to choose, and the flights for the split get booked early.

What about next year?

DSC has posted January 27 to 30, 2028. The city was not stated when we checked.
