Groups · Family reunion

The reunion, with the house that fits everyone and the dinner where they all turn up.

Three generations, four households, one cousin who books everything. We take that job.

What's handled.

In the order it matters for this trip.

  1. A house or villa that sleeps everyone, or connecting rooms at a hotel that can, with the beds and the stairs thought about
  2. Cars or a van for the households that fly in, timed to different flights
  3. Groceries for twenty in the house before the first car arrives
  4. The one dinner everyone attends, held early, and the rest left open
  5. Something for the kids, something for the ones who don't do the beach, and nothing for the ones who want nothing
  6. Accessibility handled quietly: the ground-floor room, the step-free entrance, the car that fits the chair
  7. One itinerary the whole family can see, with who is arriving when

Who's usually organising

The organised cousin, or the grandparent paying for it.

Where these go

The lake, the beach, the mountains, a ranch, a big house in a walkable town, a resort with the right kind of pool. Usually within a drive of most of the family. For families around Atlanta, that is often the Georgia or Carolina coast, the North Georgia mountains or a lake.

The one thing to know

The house is the decision. Everything else follows from how many beds, how many bathrooms and whether Grandma can get to her room without stairs.

What it costs

The house, the rooms and most bookings are paid by the suppliers, so they cost nothing extra to book through us. Planning the whole trip starts at $250 and depends on how many moving parts it has. The exact fee is in your quote.

Questions.

Some of us are paying, some aren't

Common. We set the house or the rooms up so the payer pays what they meant to and everyone else can add their own extras.

We need it accessible

Say so on the form. We ask the property the specific questions and put the answers in writing before anyone books.
