Groups · Wedding week

The wedding week for the people flying in, handled.

Not the wedding. The week around it: where sixty guests sleep, how they get to the venue, and what the out-of-towners do on Friday.

What's handled.

In the order it matters for this trip.

  1. Rooms for guests at two or three hotels near the venue, sized to the guest list
  2. A booking link guests use themselves, so nobody is collecting credit cards
  3. Shuttles or cars between the hotels and the venue, timed to the ceremony and the last song
  4. The rehearsal dinner and the welcome drinks venues, held early
  5. A house or a villa for the wedding party if the hotels are wrong for it
  6. Things for guests to do on the day before and the morning after, written down and sent to them
  7. The couple's own trip after, if you want it planned by the same person

Who's usually organising

The couple, a parent, or the planner who doesn't do rooms.

Where these go

Wherever the venue is. Destination weddings in Mexico, Italy, the Caribbean and the mountain West are the ones where the week around it matters most.

The one thing to know

Set up the rooms before the save-the-dates go out, so the link is in the first thing guests receive. Guests book later than couples expect.

What it costs

The house, the rooms and most bookings are paid by the suppliers, so they cost nothing extra to book through us. Planning the whole trip starts at $250 and depends on how many moving parts it has. The exact fee is in your quote.

Questions.

We have a wedding planner

Good. Planners rarely manage room blocks and guest travel; that's our lane. We work alongside them.

Do we sign a contract for the block?

It depends on the guest list and the hotel. We go through the terms with you before anything is booked.

Can you plan our honeymoon?

Yes. Same person, and it's usually the easiest part of the whole thing.
