The weekend, practically.
Clemson has the fewest hotel rooms of any of these towns, so it fills first. South Carolina comes to Clemson on Nov 28. We book the family's rooms on one link, work out the drive from Greenville and hold the tables.
Most of the rooms in Clemson itself are gone early. The usual answer is Greenville, about 45 minutes away on a normal day, with more hotels and more places to eat. Game-day traffic into Clemson is slow; we have not timed it ourselves. Lake Hartwell houses are the other answer, and they suit a family that wants one kitchen.
Graduation in Clemson is a weekday-heavy week with several ceremonies. Find out which one your graduate is in before you book three nights.
Each family books its own room from one link.
